Two years ago, snowboarder Kevin Pearce was in a halfpipe accident that nearly cost him his life and this week, he will snowboard again.
Long road to recovery The amazing boarder has endured a long and hard journey to full recovery and has had to overcome distorted vision and memory loss.
His first ride since the accident will be tomorrow (Tues 12/12/2011), when he is heading to Breckenridge, and he has invited everyone to join him on the slopes.
Pearce has been inspired by the ‘I Ride for Kevin’ campaign which has shown plenty of support for the boarder on his road to recovery and he has thanked everyone by inviting them out onto the slopes with him.
So anyone who is in Breckenridge tomorrow should make an effort to see him back on a board and offer your support.
