This coming Monday (17th Oct) the Prince Charles Cinema in Leicester Square will host the 6th Ride Freesport Film Festival.
Wristbands are limited There will be three films shown on the night, and each one is a UK premiere. There are over 75 minutes of freeride and freestyle action, so it really is a night not to be missed.
Here is the schedule of events:
8.45pm - Opening & Adverts 8.55pm - STRICTLY BUSINESS – Unity Productions 9.20pm - RETALLACK - Tanner Hall and Inspired Media Concepts 9.45pm - NOTHING ELSE MATTERS – Legs of Steel Crew 10.15pm - Finish & After Party
The Ride Freesport Film Festival was originally started as a film premiere night in 1999 for the ski action movies of Warren Smith, Guido Perrini and Melody Sky.
The night evolved in 2006, when Warren and Melody developed it into a mini film festival for British Ski Film Makers and Photographers with 2007 and 2008 setting the standard for the future films.
Next week’s event will see some familiar faces from the years gone by, plus some new faces on the block. Film makers will show their work shot over the past year and have it judged by film makers, editors and major players from the Film and Television industry.
The night looks set to be a good one that you simply won’t want to miss. So you should book your tickets now, as the wristbands are limited. Plus there is set to be a banging after party at The Ruby Blue, which is just opposite the cinema.
