British Winter Athletes (BWA) will be exhibiting at the Ski & Snowboard Show with the aim of raising awareness for the foundation and generating the first stage of funding.

What is BWA?
BWA was initially started in 2010 to help promote and raise awareness for the GB Youth snowboard team by promoting them via Facebook .

After a little over a year, British Winter Athletes has taken the UK by storm and will be there to help out all British Snow sports disciplines by promoting the cause at the Ski & Snowboard Show at Earls Court.

Since the early days BWA has taken off running, the aim of the foundation is now to raise money for the future of winter athletes in the UK and provide funding for any talented child between the ages of 8-18 looking to compete at a national and international level.

The support BWA has received has been overwhelming with leading UK figures in snowsports such as Olympic Boardercross rider Zoe Gillings, Yannick from the O’neill Team Evolution, Pat Sharples, a leading figure for the British freeski team and Sir Robin Cousins to name but a few.

BWA will be exhibiting at the ski show with the aim of raising awareness for the foundation and generating the first stage of funding.

There are over £4,000 worth of prizes to be won in the raffle, including, skis, snowboards, holidays and much, much more.  

There will also be the K2 row challenge and the Salomon Buzz Wire booth - just a pound to enter with pair of ski’s and a snowboard for the lucky winners!
