Eurostar announce French Alps service

EurostarThe travel options of ski holidaymakers have been boosted considerably by the news that Eurostar are launching a direct service to several French Alps resorts.

The service will be introduced in time for the next ski season, with trains running from St Pancras International and Ashford to the resorts of Moutiers, Aime-la-Plagne and Bourg-St-Maurice from 19 December 2010 to 16 April 2011.

If you're interested in snapping up the first tickets for this newly launched service, ticket sales have started this week. And if it takes your fancy, you can travel in style by opting for the Standard Premier travel service, which includes food and drink to suit your journey time. Standard tickets are also available for those looking to save the pennies for the resort itself.

Fare Details
Eurostar have introduced a French Alps travel ticket from as little as £149 return with night trains and day trains both available.

Another benefit of opting for the Eurostar service will be the large number of shuttle bus services at Eurostar-designated stations that will transport holidaymakers to some of the most popular French Alps resorts including Les Arcs, Meribel, Courcheval, Le Plagne and Tignes.
