Can you help rebuild Ski Rossendale? The community slope in the Rossendale valley needs you!
Help get the slope in tip top condition Ski Rossendale has been saved and is due to re-open in September by the Social Enterprise, Ski Rossendale Ltd.
An appeal has been launched to get the slope back in tip top condition for its re-opening and to keep it going for generations to come.
The slope is now a community facility so the team need the help of the community to create a slope to be proud of.
Did you learn to ski or board there? Do you have many happy memories? Were you saddened by the closure in March?
There are all kinds of jobs to be done, from cleaning, to painting and decorating, gardening, improving the slope..... Some volunteers are already helping, but this is a mammoth task and the more the merrier. It is a great community spirit.
If you can spare even a couple of hours over the next few weeks, please pop up to the slope on Haslingden Old Road and get stuck in.
For more information, head to the Racer Ready or Ski Rossendale website.
