Perisher Blue in Australia has joined the technological revolution with the launch of an iPhone app offering information on the resort.

Perisher Tapped
The app, called Perisher Tapped will offer a "unique and comprehensive guide to Perisher Resort", assisting you with everything from locating yourself on a Perisher trail to finding the latest snow and weather reports for the resort.

However, it seems resort staff are itching to find out the public reaction to the App, as they have offered holidaymakers the power to make changes to what the App can offer during the next couple of weeks.

You Call the Shots
The Perisher management have announced that modifications will be made to the App as they gauge the public move, with bosses happy to make additions when necessary should the product capture the imagination.

Additional features that the App currently offer include a summary of the day's highlights, a distance calculator, and the ability to display your ski and snowboard runs on a map which can be posted to Facebook for all your friends to look at with envy.
